Coconut palms grow along seven kilometers of coastline.
These are intercropped mainly with bananas, lanzones, and mangoes.
Rice is grown in small, lowland farms. Corn is cultivated between
coconut palms and on mountains. Coffee, vegetables, and abaca thrive
well in valleys and highlands.

exporter that uses indigenous materials like cogon grass,
abaca fiber, salago bark, and pineapple leaves.

Biggest group of traders
are owners of small grocery stores called sari-sari. These
are followed by the fruit vendors, fish vendors and dry goods stores.
