In
year 2000, SHAPII started the SHAPII Multipurpose Cooperative. One
hundred twenty of its workers formed the nucleus with an actual
paid up capital of P139,400.00. Again, this amount was produced
through salary deduction scheme.
The cooperative was meant to be totally independent
from the administration of SHAPII, but it was fully supported by
SHAPII in its infant stage. It was registered with the Cooperative
Development Authority on March 23, 2000.
In 2003, its asset was P401, 652.88 with a membership
of 135. It had a modest grocery store, canteen and small lending
activities. It was and is still housed in a rented SHAPII building
within the Workplace Area. 
It has dreams of strengthening itself so that
it can handle cooperative activities, involving also the stockholders
of SHAPII.
The general populace of its town may be
invited to join in as soon as it is feasible. First, capability
building of its members is being taken cared of. We all want to
